FDC U.S. FIRST DAY COVER ACCUMULATION - over 850 mostly different FDC's housed in flip FDC files and a few books, 1928-1981; includes several uncacheted (Scott #'s 645, 690(9), 795) mostly cacheted unaddressed (maybe half) and addressed starting with #856 including 859-93 cacheted addressed; a variety of cachet makers including Artcraft, Anderson, Ioor, maybe a Crosby or two, Artopages, various later Fleetwood covers (including 1976 flags), etc; also includes the Calhoun Collectors Society set of two gold foil over bronze ingots honoring the Lindbergh flight (1927 and 1977 stamp design), and also the CCS gold foil FDC's from 1978 (27 issues); overall pretty clean but expect edge wear and some wrinkles (ENV 450-500) -----

U.S. AND WORLDWIDE COVER ACCUMULATION - unusual grouping of about 400 items with US FDC's, a few first flights from the late 1920's, a dozen Bahrain commercial covers from the late 1930's, US and Canada Maxim cards or programs with the FDC, 1985 Inaugural covers as well as the booklet describing the festivities of the inauguration, US and worldwide event covers, etc; probably about half are US; condition mixed in places; needs to be viewed (ENV 275-300) -----

17  U.S. COMPREHENSIVE U.S. COLLECTION - mixed mint and used, mostly mint, hinged and mounted in seven albums most of which are American Heirloom albums, the collection starts out with strong early issues: 69*, 73*, 116(*), 119(*), 146(*), 157(*), 183*, 189*, 206*,211*, 212-214*, 230-39*, 251*, 253*, 260*, 273-74*, 276*, 288*, 290(*), 294-99*, 301-308*, 323-27*, 572*, 578-79*, 591*, 630(VF NH), 832-34*, 1053*, nearly complete after 1930 and running through 2002, there is an album of Coil Pairs and Line Pairs with later PNC's, along with Booklets or panes that are nearly complete after 1930, the B.O.B. includes Postage Due singles and some plate blocks, Special Delivery, later Officials including some plate blocks, used early Ducks with some later issues being mint, the Airmails are complete to 1990 including C1-6* and used, 13-15(*), 18* and used; there is an album of Postal Stationary which is strong in entires especially the Columbian issue, also some Revenues, overall condition of this collection is fairly mixed with some faults to be expected in the early issues, there are many useful stamps here, the face value from 1940 to 2002 exceeds $2,000, the catalog value listed is a conservative estimate, viewing is suggested and this is one of the better U.S. collections that we have offered in a while, plan on taking some time with this one 20,000.00

28  U.S. U.S. HIGH VALUE SELECTION - this group includes six high value items, a cover to Ypsilanti, MI, with two singles of #28, there is a "C.W.R. East" marking on the back of this cover(cat. val. $2,800), a #292 that is Fine+ NH, this stamp has great color(cat. val. $3,750); there is a block of four of #369 that is NH, overall Fine-Very Fine with sharp color and is quite fresh(cat. val. $1,700); there is a B. Pl. #264 block of six that has a hinge, deep dark color and is just Fine(cat. val. $2,250); there is a matched set of plate blocks of eight of #529, the T.
