FDC EXTENSIVE U.S. FIRST DAY COVER COLLECTION - over 3,900 different covers and/or cachets housed in 8"x10" acetate sleeves in four large boxes, 1950-March 2007 (no back of the book); includes high values (all $5 values, Express Mails, Priority Mails, etc), sheetlets, etc, and is nearly complete only missing the tagged varities and a few sheets; the pre 1996 issues (about 2,100 covers) are 95% addressed (all the $2 and up face value are unaddressed), the 1996-2007 (about 1,800 covers) are unaddressed; mostly Artmaster cachet but it also includes Artcraft, Fleetwood, Cachet Craft, Smartcraft, Anderson, Fluegel, House of Farnham, Aristocrat plus many more in the more recent issues; overall very clean and neatly presented; a LOT of owners cost especially in the post 1995 issues; viewing would be a pleasure (ENV (1,600-1,800) -----

FDC U.S. FIRST DAY COVER COLLECTION - approximately 300 different FDC's housed in acetate pages with mounting corners, 1925-1949, most cacheted from 1934-49, all addressed; highlights are Scott #'s 610, 617-18, 620-23, 620-21 combo cover, 628, 735a, 740-49, 751a, 832-34 and 855; the listed cat. val. is from the 2004 Brookman catalog for the pre #772 cacheted (#'s 724, 726, 727, 740-49, 751, 751a, 753-65 and 771 valued at $755) then Scott ($2,749) for the rest which includes the premium for blocks and plate blocks (about 60 covers, most past 1940); a nice variety of cachets with some mild premium; overal condition is F-VF with the usual edge wear and an occasional fault 3,504.00

FDC FIRST DAY COVER ACCUMULATION - over 600 FDC's which inlcudes regular issue, commemoratives, air mails, special delivery, postal stationary and postal cards; the 1938-1958 issues are unaddressed and overwhelmingly Artcraft cachet, some very minor duplication, and includes Scott # 834(2) and 1053; the 1967-68 group (about 350 covers) are uncacheted and addressed; quite a bit of duplication in this group; overall F-VF with some minor toning issues concerning the gum used on the back flaps shows a bit on the front (ENV 300-350) -----

23  U.S. COMPREHENSIVE U.S. COLLECTION - mixed mint and used, mostly mint, hinged and mounted in seven albums most of which are American Heirloom albums, the collection starts out with strong early issues: 69*, 73*, 116*, 119(*), 146(*), 156-57*, 178*, 189*, 211*, 212*, 214*, 230-39*, 251*, 253*, 260-61*, 273-74*, 288*, 290*, 294-99*, 301-308*, 323-27*, 461*, 469-72*, 578-79*, 630(VF NH), 832-34*, 1053*, very complete after 1930 and running through 2002, there is an album of Coil Pairs and Line Pairs with later PNC's, along with Booklets that are very complete after 1930, the B.O.B. includes Postage Due singles and some plate blocks, Special Delivery, later Officials including some plate blocks, used early Ducks with some later issues being mint, the Airmails are complete including C1-6* and used, 13-15*, 18* and used; there is an album of Postal Stationary which is strong in entires especially the Columbian issue, also some Revenues, overall condition of this collection is fairly mixed with some faults to be expected in the early issues, there are many useful stamps here, the face value from 1940 to 2002 probably exceeds $1,000, the catalog value listed is our estimate and it is certainly conservative, viewing is suggested and this is one of the better U.S. collections that we have offered in awhile, plan on taking some time with this one 32,500.00
