FDC COVERS U.S. PRE 1950 FIRST DAY COVER ACCUMULATION - over 400 First Day Covers, all pre 1950, includes regular, commemmorative, air mail and special delivery issues; light duplication (under 5 each) throughout; about 95% cacheted and 90% addressed; starts about 1926 and ends in 1949; includes several two cent reds with cachets (retail generally $20-$40 each), quite a bit in the 1930's including the 1939 Baseball, quantities of Famous Americans and Overrun Countries, etc; the airmails include the 1941 transport series, the Special Deliveries with the 13 and 17 cent messenger; excellent variety of cachets; overall condition is very nice with only the usual edge wear and some light overall aging; catalog or retail value will be over $3,000; definately one of the better FDC lots for this period that we have offered; a pleasure to view (ENV 750-850) -----

FDC COVERS FLEETWOOD PROOF CARDS WITH FDC - about 450 different proof cards, all with the stamp and First Day cancel, housed in 12 padded binders (binders need some cleaning up) with each card in an heavy acetate sleeve, covering 1983-1991 with a couple back to the 1970's; includes regulars, commems, air mail and officials; noticed no high values and one express mail ($9.35) but there may be others; most of the se-tenant issues have the multiple on one card and single cards for each stamp of the unit; this includes booklet panes as well as se-tenant blocks; overall very clean and a great start to this FDC collecting area (ENV 350-400) -----

17  U.S. U.S. COLLECTION - mixed mint and used mostly used, mounted in three American Heirloom albums, there are also many covers and exhibition postcards included, runs to about 1962 and there is some good B.O.B. material, here including nearly complete Airmails less C15, there is a fair amount of catalog value pre-1920 with some of the better items: 112-117, 119, 230-40, 285-90, 294-99, 300-12, there is a 630 SS on cover, there are also some blocks and plate blocks here, in addition there is quite a bit of speiciality material and varieties present, overall condition is mixed with faults to be expected, this is a very worthwhile collection with plenty of catalog value, viewing will be an advantage and pleasure, a most interesting collection, (ENV 2,000-2,500) -----

18  U.S. U.S. USED STOCK - all used, sorted and identified in five big Elbe linen hinged stock books, runs to about 2000, there is no B.O.B. material here, there are many used blocks of four present for many issues, overall condition is mixed with faults to be expected, but mostly in the early issues, quantities generally range from 1-10 with some higher, there is a huge amount of catalog value in the first book with many stamps in the $10-50 range each, the stock starts with Scott #205, a very interesting and comprehensive stock with incredible variety, a ready-to-go opportunity to obtain a very strong U.S. used stock, (ENV 2,000-2,500) -----
